We are delighted to announce a partnership between ECLOF International and the Union of Welsh Independents.
The Union of Welsh Independents is a voluntary union of over 400 churches mainly located in Wales, United Kingdom. The Union itself is a member of the Council for World Mission, a worldwide partnership of churches. The Union holds a portfolio of equities and alternative investments and has been following a set of strict ethical exclusion criteria in choosing its investment targets.
In an effort to further align its investment practice with its social mission, the Union has decided to make a loan to ECLOF International. The loan funds will allow the ECLOF microfinance network to expand our mission of promoting social justice and human dignity through microfinance and to continue to reach out to vulnerable and marginalized communities around the world.
