We are delighted to announce a partnership between ECLOF International and Calvert Impact Capital, whereby Calvert has extended loan facilities in the order of USD 2M to ECLOF International.
Calvert Impact Capital is an investment firm that moves capital into communities through mission-driven organizations with a social or environmental focus worldwide. It aims to serve sectors and regions that are often overlooked or underserved by the traditional capital markets, with a focus on lending to organizations working in areas like climate change, education, microfinance, affordable housing, and gender equity.
The loan funds will allow the ECLOF microfinance network to continue our mission of promoting social justice and human dignity, to continue to expand our portfolio of rural and agricultural loans, and to continue to reach out to vulnerable and marginalized communities.
