Feb 8, 2018 – This February, ECLOF International joined the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), a membership organization that aims to build a more just and sustainable world by integrating social values into investor and corporate actions through the lens of faith.
Based at the Interchurch Center building in New York, ICCR promotes the active and responsible ownership of assets in support of social justice, economic inclusivity and environmental protection.
ICCR’s over 300 members represent faith-based organizations, socially responsible asset management companies, foundations, and other responsible investors working alongside a global network of NGO and business partners. By actively managing their more than 400 billion dollars in assets, ICCR members commit to moving the current business focus away from achieving short-term returns towards sustainable strategies that advance the common good.
ECLOF and ICCR share a common set of values grounded in faith that promote responsible stewardship of the planet’s people and resources through inclusive finance and access to fair credit, environmental protection, and equitable access to food, water and health.
